Now You Can Spot A Liar Very Easily
Article written by David W. Richards

You must hate it when someone lies to you. Yet, you can avoid being lied to. You can learn how to spot a liar. Try these simple things below, the next thing you know, you can tell every time someone does not tell the truth:

1. Pay attention to his/her voice

If someone lies, his/her voice changes. Mostly it becomes a little bit shaking even though he/she is not someone who gets nervous easily. Normally, there is also some kind of a doubt in the voice if he/she lies. Also, the change of speaking speed is another sign of someone telling a lie.

2. The choice of words

To detect someone lies or not in writings or letters, observe his/her choice of words. A liar would not use the words I, me, my or mine. Psychologically, he/she would make some kind of a distance between him/herself and the story. For example he/she would say “It was done yesterday” instead of saying, “I did it yesterday.” Why? Because he/she didn’t really do it yesterday.

3. It’s in the eye

If both eyes of someone talking to you are focusing on something else rather than you, you should be suspicious. That person might just be lying to you.

4. Body language

If it’s someone you know well, it’s easier to tell if he/she lies or not from the body language. The way he/she moves the hand, touches the nose, hair or face, the way he/she shrugs, or the way he/she sits. Those can be indicators of a lie.

5. Expression

Look at the way he/she smiles. Some smiles can be so sincere, showing real happiness which makes not only the lips to budge but also the eyes. There is also a faking smile. This is to cover something either fear, anger or the truth.

So, now, you can always tell when someone is telling you a big lie.
