We can debate whether this brotha did a good job cutting his own hair but I give him props for taking the initiative and sharing with others. Clearly achieving the "perfect" cut, the perfect tape, the perfect hairline, the perfect nape for Black men is something that takes time and tons of practice. When I was younger, I recall coming home with my mom and cousin. My older brother Dwayne had stayed home. When we got in th house, I immediately went to look for my brother. He'd locked the bedroom door. No, he wasn't doing that! He ev entually let me in the room and to this day, I

laugh just thinking about it. He had attempted to cut his own hair. The end result was something that was a cross between George Jefferson and a dalmation. He of course had to shave his head bald. Where he's no barber, that experience gave my brother the courage to try, try again and within no-time, he was cutting his hair and others.
