FGK Direct accepts Paypal as our primary method of payment. If you prefer 2Checkout, Money Order or Certified Cheques (sorry, no personal checks accepted), please contact support@fromgrandmaskitchen.com.

2. How do I order hand-crafted, natural and organic salon and spa quality products?

Products listed at ShopGrandmasKitchen.com are sold directly by FGK (FGK DIRECT). Our shipment turnaround is approximately 3-5 business days although please allow at least 2 weeks for final delivery.

3. What's the FGK Direct Featured Products Program?
The Featured Products Program (FPP) allows new and existing FGK Market merchants to feature their products via the FGK Direct portion of the website as well as the homepage. These featured placements gain the merchant greater exposure for his/her business.
Products listed under this program enable customers to purchase products from all program members in one convenient interface. This enables the customer to place one singular order for their favorite FGK products.

4. How quickly can I setup a store?
Your store can be online in minutes. Simply click the Open a Store link. Select your template. Enter your billing and contact information. Select your package and your store is instantly created. Now comes the challenging part...customizing your store.
Our easy admin interface is designed for individuals who are not particularly net savvy but is flexible enough to accommodate advanced programmers.
In your store's admin panel you can easily drag and drop icons to edit your store's look and feel, add pages and products. Your store is equipped with a convenient What-You-See-Is-What-You-Get (WYSIWYG) editor that allows you to easily customize your font, add images and text.
So depending on the number of products and the level of customization desired for your store, you could be online and accepting payment in a matter of hours. Please note, merchants wishing to have their own domain (i.e. mystore.com, allow 72 hours for setup as your domain name needs to be registered and at times, your first choice may already be taken).

5. I want a store but I already have a domain name or website.
If you already have a domain name, you can use it to host your FGK Market store. Simply update your Domain Name Servers (DNS) to point to our servers and within the standard DNS propagation period (usually 48-72 hours), your FGK store will point to yourdomainname.com.

6. I'm a customer. Do I need a different account for each store?
No. Where FGK Direct and FGK Market require separate registration, all stores in the FGK Market have a universal login structure. In other words, once you register with one FGK Market store, you can use this login information to place an order with any FGK Market store.
FGK Direct login structure is seperate from the Market. You may however use the same login name and password you registered at FGK Market when registering at FGK Direct.
7. How long before my products are shipped?
If ordering from an FGK Market store, please review the FAQ for your particular merchant. Each merchant is responsible for shipping his/her own products and as a result, shipping times will vary.
If ordering from FGK Direct, products shipped by FGK generally arrive within 1-2 weeks. Products shipped by merchants participating in the Featured Products Program will be shipped according to the merchant's guidelines which are posted along with the merchant's description.
FGK strives to protect our consumers at all times so payments to merchants in the FPP Program are not released until the merchant has verified shipment. Thus, if you have given the merchant the requested amount of time to ship your products and have yet to receive your items, we encourage you to contact your merchant directly. If afterwards you and the merchant are unable to reach a resolution, please submit a support ticket to contact the FGK staff - http://fromgrandmaskitchen.com/support.
8. Do I need a business license?
Merchants are bound by their city and state guidelines. We do however encourage all merchants to contact their cities business license office. Most cities have information regarding registering a business online so try visiting your city's official website. In most cases, the initial fee for registering your business is less than $100.
9. I don't sell products but I want to advertise.
At FGK we recognize that not all businesses offer products that are designed for online consumption. Fortunately, we have a variety of advertising options available to you at FGK Direct - http://fromgrandmaskitchen.com/fgkdirect/Advertising/.
10. What is your refund policy?
FGK Market and FGK Direct Return Policies may differ. If you are ordering from an FGK Market store, please be sure to review that store's return policy.
FGK Market store refund policies are reviewed by the FGK Staff prior to the store's opening to insure that they comply with our overall customer service guidelines.
FGK DIRECT REFUND POLICY
We accept returns on unused, undamaged, undoctored, unopened merchandise. Merchandise may be returned via mail within 14 days of package delivery. Returns must be accompanied by a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number, original receipt or packing slip AND all original packing materials.
Items can not be returned without prior approval. Items returned without a RMA are immediately returned to sender at your expense.
Refunds will be processed based on the original form of payment.
For your protection, we recommend that you acquire insurance, signature and/or delivery confirmation services on the returned package. Return shipping fees are non-refundable. FGK is not responsible for returned packages that are lost in-transit. Packages that are returned by you, to FGK, that are lost or damaged in return transit by no fault of FGK, are ineligible for refund. Damaged In-Transit Items: FGK will make every attempt to rectify Damaged In-Transit deliveries in a timely manner. When your order arrives, inspect the package for any damage that may have occurred in-transit. It is normal for the shipping carton to show some wear and tear; however, if the package is leaking, open or extensively damaged, refuse the shipment if you are present at the delivery. If not, please adhere to the following procedures based on your carrier:
- USPS Priority Mail: Do not open the package. Contact FGK Support - http://fromgrandmaskitchen.com/support
- USPS Express Mail: Your package is insured. Do not open the package. Contact FGK Support so that we may file a claim with USPS - http://fromgrandmaskitchen.com/support.

11. Why do I have to place multiple orders?
Each FGK Market Store is wholly independent. When you order from an FGK Market Store, you are contracting with that merchant directly and are subject to her/his fees, terms and conditions.
FGK Direct enables all of our merchants to feature their products via the Featured Products Program. If you order products that are under the FPP, you will submit payment once but may receive multiple shipments as each merchant is responsible for shipping his/her own products. Please note, payment for your order is not released to any of the merchants until the merchant verifies shipment.
12. Where do I get shipping materials?
First you need to decide who will be your shipping provider. In general, USPS and FedEx offer the cheapest online rates.
USPS Boxes
USPS offers boxes online for free in a variety of different sizes. Visit http://shop.usps.com and click the For Mailing/Shipping link to order your boxes. They will generally arrive within 1-2 weeks.
FedEx Boxes
To date, FedEx only offers free boxes for Express Mail shipments. You can purchase standard corrugated boxes from FedEx Kinkos, Wal-Mart or any other local supplier. In general however, online rates for boxes are cheaper. Below is a list of some reputable, quick-ship companies. You can also order packing tape, packing peanuts (styrofoam) and bubble wrap from these suppliers as well. You may also want ot purchase a scale to weigh your packages to insure that you apply the correct postage. An inexpensive scale can be purchased at most retailers for about $15.

Please note that FGK Market stores are required to offer some form of tracking on packages. This will provide proof of shipment to your customer and their credit card company if issues arise. FedEx and UPS offer free online tracking with all shipments. USPS offers free tracking on Priority Mail and Express Shipments. For First-Class shipments (packages weighing under 13 ounces), delivery or signature confirmation can be purchased for a fee.
USPS Shipping Administration
We strongly encourage our merchants to download USPS Shipping Assistant. This free software will enable you to calculate shipping rates, store customer information, generate shipping labels and tracking numbers. Rates for upsale items (Signature Confirmation) are generally cheaper via this program.

FedEx/UPS Shipping Assistants
With FedEx and UPS you will need to create an account. Once you create an account, you will be able to store customer information, generate labels and track shipments online.
Finally, whether you opt for FedEX, UPS or USPS, you may pay for your postage online and schedule a pick-up and/or print your labels at home and pay for your packages at a designated shipping center or post office.
13. Do I need a Merchant Account?
No. If you do not wish to go through the process of getting a merchant account, you may choose to accept payment via sources such as Paypal or 2Checkout.com.
If you already have a merchant account or are considering getting one, we recommend Authorize.net as your credit card/echeck processing module.
What are the benefits of a merchant account?
With Paypal and 2Checkout.com you are beholden to their guidelines. A merchant account allows you to manually process credit cards and issue refunds at your discretion. With a merchant account you are however subject to Chargeback fees in the case of a dispute.
What's a Chargeback?
When a customer disputes a charge via Paypal or 2Checkout, you are notified via email and given opportunity to rectify the issue. If the issue remains unresolved, the entire purchase may be refunded by Paypal or 2CO.
In the case of a merchant account, the customer contacts his/her credit card company directly. Your merchant account provider will generally refund the purchase automatically and you are charged a fee (usually $25 per chargeback). You are then notified via mail and asked to supply documentation of the shipment. If documentation is provided, you have the option of resubmitting the charge. Even when you have proof of purchase, chargeback fees are non-refundable.
When/Why would I need a merchant account?
If you have a brick and mortar business (an actual store front), if you participate in trade shows, if you do not want to be beholden to the rules of a third-party such as Paypal or 2CO, if you want to process your customers orders only when they are ready to be shipped, you should consider getting a merchant account.
For merchant account providers, simply Google "merchant accounts" and compare rates. Merchant accounts are subject to credit approval. In most cases, your merchant account can be established within a matter of days.
14. What's the difference between FGK Direct and FGK Market?
FGK Direct is the primary online store for From Grandma's Kitchen. FGK Direct features a variety of products that are shipped direct from the FGK facility. In addition to our products, merchants in the FGK Market may opt to feature their items in FGK Direct. Doing so allows customers to place one order for their favorite FGK Direct and Market products. Featured products from Market merchants are shipped from the merchants themselves. So where the customer places one order, if they place orders from a variety of different manufacturers, they will receive multiple shipments until the order is complete. Merchant participation in the FGK Direct Featured Products Program is based on the merchant's store account level.
15. I'm a naani.com customer and have some concerns.
First, thanks for visiting FromGrandmasKitchen.com. Due to personal and health concerns of naani.com's owner, FGK has been afforded the opportunity to grow, expand and improve upon their business model. naani.com is not however obsolete. naani.com will continue to offer naani's naturals products to wholesale customers.
