I think this is on a individual basis and I also think the same thing applies to Africans.

What actually do you know about those people besides that we were once slaves? You, just like I, obviously can not speak for all or even most Africans/African Americans. Are the things you know as superficial as turning on a tv and seeing images depicted of us, as we see certain images depicted of you?
