Not really. We have very mixed views about them as African-Americans are overwhelming Christian. On the one hand, there is respect for them because they dress well, preach black pride and financial independence. On the other hand, their religion is seen as a ridiculous cult of Islam that is oppressive towards women and deeply anti-Semitic.

Tell it. I dont think any black muslim, even the radical mos-def, would become a suicide bomber. They live too nicely.
