i like a white boy.  white boy likes me.  dude’s mom had commented that she wasn’t too keen on his dating a black girl and therefore would need to pray about it.  she did and came to the conclusion that if it’s what he wanted, she would have to be ok with it.

we now rejoin the program currently in progress…

God, Jesus, Peter, Mary and all the other disciples were on hiatus when dude’s mom prayed cause oooooooooh the devil (”devil”…black militants are loving the irony).

apparently, july 4th sparked…get it “sparked” a sort of partiotism.  unfortunately, it was most likely in the confederate flag cause dude’s mom had a breakdown at a picnic (”picnic”…black militants are loving the irony).   and when I say “breakdown” I mean broke the fuck down!  it was a !PicNicNigFit!

apparently (that’s my word of the day), dude would deliberately answer my calls around his family in such a way as to introduce them to the fact that he’s really sweet on me.  on the 4th, his momma apparently had all she could take.  so let me set the stage for you…

folks are grillin, kids are playin, beers are chillin and there’s his momma…crying her damn eyes out!!! and probably saying shit that would make mark furhman blush.  dude is there in shock as sister is “SEE WHAT YOU’RE DOING TO HER!!!“…where is the youtube video when ya need it?!?

the following day, i got hold of dude and he told me about what transpired and asked if we could remain friends.  i know what you’re thinking…HOLD THE FUCK UP! is he really breaking up with you because his mom is a racist?  he really did!

apparently, he has chosen to avoid the drama and on one hand, i get that.  there are billions of people in the world and chances are, we’ll both find someone else we like more and whose family is accepting so why cause drama when you ain’t gotta right?

that’s a pretty rational defense but the “i’m a coward” defense is at play here too.  he chose to date interracially.  did he assume that his family or society would be color blind?  and what about being insulted to the point of erring on the side of morality?

knowing that his mom “prayed about it,” why does he not feel a sense of disgust in the fact that someone who proclaims to believe in God has absolutely no sense of WWJD when it comes to race?  wouldn’t a Christian with of any sense of right and wrong choose to bear this cross (”cross”… Christians will love the irony) rather than side with the devil?

and no, not calling his mom a devil.  i wouldn’t dare.  as i said, my family isn’t too keen on my dating outside my race and where i feel that none of them would have the black equivalent of a !PicNicNigFit!…which i guess would be a CookOutOfayMêlée?, you don’t know what you don’t know…ya know?  where she’s not be the devil, the devil was clearly at work during the !PicNicNigFit!

so folks i don’t know what i’m more pissed about.  at least his mom has chosen to be honest with herself.  she don’t like black people…period.  i respect that.  in fact, i appreciate it because i like my racists out of the hood…(oh, everyone should appreciate that irony…pun?…whatever).  but him…how dare he?

avoiding the drama…yes, but facts are, we’re dating.  i ain’t wanna meet his momma!  don’t bring me around folks that i might end up caring about only to never see them again if we break up.  i meet your peoples and you meet mine round about the time there’s a ring on it.  before then, i don’t need that drama O-KAY?

so why couldn’t we continue?  why fold or bend to some racist bullshit? is he really going to avoid dating everyone but white chicks because it’ll make mommy cry?  hell, he’s 39, single, no kids.   she should’ve realized i ain’t gonna stick around for long anyway…right?

i told my friend Michelle about the !PicNicNigFit! and my conclusion that his mom should know her son well enough to realize our relationship would have an expiration date, so why flip out?  Michelle, who likes to contradict me for sport, pointed out that maybe that’s why she had the fit.  maybe mom sensed that this time the expiration date wasn’t so certain or at the very least, was a ways away.  thus…!PicNicNigFit!

so folks, if Michelle is right, why would i want to date a guy that senses i’m worth it but won’t budge?  God, can i please meet a man that has more backbone than me?

btw, dude is reading this and he is so pissed right now.  the final irony is in what i sense about him.  i think this dude does have a backbone and if he chooses to exercise it, that would be excellent…for now.  but what happens if i ever have to meet his family.  where i’m on my WWJD kick today, what will i do when i’m staring racism in the face?  OfayMêlée anyone?
