African Americans have very good specialist products. Excellent hair products, excellent black TV programs, fantastic music comes from black Americans too. If you are black and want to find something appealing to black people, the States is the place to be.

African-Americans have a true sense of identity because they are ‘American’ and proud to be American. They aren’t like us. They are in a country they feel they belong in and they are more patriotic than we are.

Black people in America have longer hair than us and nicer complexions because they can get hold of the better products for their skin and hair.

Why are African-Americans called ‘African’ Americans? They are black people – what, besides their blackness, do they have in common with Africans?

Where does the term “nappy” originate? In the UK, we use the term instead of the word diaper.

There are still some groups of white people who are very racist and unwelcoming and are given some political power by likeminded white people who vote for them.

UK Blacks have fundamental differences to our white counterparts. A UK Black would almost always moisturize freshly bathed skin, even males. This isn’t necessarily so for our white counterparts.

Black people are black people, right? No matter where we are, we have the same traditions, experiences, knowledge and culture – don’t we? Or, do we?

I saw a snotty nosed kid today that I wanted to kidnap and drop off at a hair salon with $60 and a set of barettes. The momma’s hair wasn’t much better and if I didn’t know better, I’d have performed an emergency quick weaveotomy.
